Product Overview
The Huijue Network Integrated DC Power Supply is an outdoor power system specifically built for 5G small cells, micro base stations, street level telecom sites, pole mounted stations, and remote communication facilities.
This integrated power supply system integrates the functions of rectification, DC distribution, monitoring, surge protection, and battery back-up in a modular power supply system. The outdoor power system module can operate in collaboration with either one or more lithium battery module, delivering reliable DC power with the option to scale up its back-up power capacity.
Whereas the traditional telecom power systems require a separate equipment room or big cabinet for operation, this compact system can be installed directly on the communication site. It is wall mountable, pole mountable, tower mountable, and ground mountable.
Modular Power Architecture
It is mainly made up of an outdoor power unit and outdoor battery units, which differ from the conventional large power cabinet.
The power unit includes the functionalities that are essential for DC power management in the telecom industry, including the following functionalities:
- AC/DC rectification
- DC power distribution
- Monitoring
- Surge protection
- Battery charging
- Communications
The battery module is made up of modular Li-ion batteries with BMS embedded within. Several battery units can be interconnected depending on the desired backup time and telecom loads.
This design helps in configuring the power system according to the site requirements.
Compact Design for Small Telecom Sites
A 5G small cell network can be set up in places that have very little space for the installation of equipment, like street poles, buildings, lamp posts, and small outdoor platforms.
Because of the small size of the integrated DC power system, it is possible to install the power system close to the communication system without having a power room dedicated to it.

Flexible Battery Backup
The system may be fitted with one or several LiFePO₄ battery modules, based on the backup period needed.
In the course of its regular operation, the power module powers the telecom load as well as the battery modules. In case of an interruption in the AC input, the battery modules automatically provide backup DC power for the communication equipment.
Several battery modules may be added in case of a longer backup period needed.
Outdoor Power Module
The outdoor power module is intended for outdoor deployment directly into telecom applications.
All the rectifying, distributing, monitoring and protective features have been incorporated into a single device which will eliminate the need for multiple power devices.
This module may have a fanless thermal management system with an external dissipating mechanism that will help in eliminating mechanical parts.
Depending on the harshness of the environment, the casing and all other elements can be made based on their respective requirements.
Intelligent Battery Management
Each module of the battery pack contains a Battery Management System (BMS), which monitors essential parameters of the battery and controls charging and discharging.
Parameters monitored by the BMS are:
- Battery voltage
- Charging & discharging current
- Battery temperature
- State of Charge (SOC)
- Battery protection status
- Battery alarms
- Battery operation parameters
The battery packs have an interface with the power system for coordinated charging, protection, and monitoring.
Easy Installation
Another advantage of the integration system is the flexibility in installation.
According to the arrangement of the premises, the system can be installed as:

- Equipment platform installation outside
The small and light modular design makes the transportation and on-site installation of the system more convenient than conventional telecom power systems.
Intelligent Monitoring
The integrated monitoring feature enables you to see how the power module and battery modules are functioning.
Based on the settings, this technology may support 4G wireless communication, Bluetooth local monitoring, and other communication interfaces, enabling you to monitor the status of your system remotely or using a nearby mobile phone.
